Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 19, 2026
The "Free Fordham Hill" campaign respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website, sign up for updates, or interact with our campaign.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you interact with our website or campaign. This includes:
- Contact Information: Your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
- Verification Details: Your building and unit number to verify shareholder status.
- Communications: Any messages, feedback, or volunteer applications you submit through our forms.
Note regarding Proxies: When you click to sign a proxy, you are redirected to a secure third-party platform (PandaDoc). We do not collect or store your digital signature directly on this website.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is strictly used to support the goals of the Free Fordham Hill campaign. We use this data to:
- Send you important campaign updates, newsletters, and breaking news regarding the cooperative.
- Notify you about upcoming shareholder meetings, proxy deadlines, and voting requirements.
- Verify your status as a shareholder for our internal metrics and quorum tracking.
- Respond to your inquiries or volunteer applications.
3. SMS Text Messaging & Mobile Opt-In Data
No Third-Party Sharing of SMS Data
We highly value your privacy. Mobile information and text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with or sold to any third parties, affiliates, or agencies for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message Frequency & Costs: Message frequency varies based on campaign milestones. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
How to Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. For assistance, reply HELP.
4. General Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to anyone.
We do not share your personal contact information with the current Fordham Hill Owners Corporation Board of Directors or Management without your explicit consent.
We use Cloudflare to host this website and securely store form submissions, and Resend to deliver form-notification emails to campaign administrators. These providers process information only to operate those services for us.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, or for the specific, legally required purpose of validating petitions and proxies where signature and shareholder verification is necessary to force a Special Meeting.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate administrative and technical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Form submissions are stored in a restricted Cloudflare database and routed securely to campaign administrators.
We keep campaign contact and volunteer information while the campaign is active or as needed to honor your subscription, then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed. You may ask us to correct or delete your information through our contact form.
6. Protection from Liability & User Responsibilities
By using this site, submitting forms, or volunteering, you agree that Free Fordham Hill and its organizers are not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from your participation in this campaign or use of this website.
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when filling out forms. Malicious use of the site (such as submitting false proxy information or harassing organizers) will result in you being blocked from future communications.
